My name is Kavya, but my grandparents call me Kavyam, which means poetry in Tamil. That word has always felt like the core of who I am, something quiet and meaningful that shaped me growing up.
Tamil culture was always there in the background through summer trips to India, the gold we saved for special occasions, and stories we told at home. But I never saw it reflected in the jewelry around me. I wanted something that felt both rooted in my heritage and modern, something I could actually wear every day.
So I made it myself. And now it's Kavyam.
This brand is for people like me who live between two worlds. It's for anyone who wants their jewelry to mean something, to tell their story. Not just something pretty, but something that feels like you.

Hi, I'm Kavya
I'm a graduate student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a content creator. I started making jewelry because I couldn't find pieces that felt like me, something with intention and thoughtfulness.
Every piece in Kavyam is carefully designed and handcrafted. From delicate pearl earrings to bold statement necklaces, each item is made to last and made to mean something. I focus on quality materials, beautiful details, and pieces that actually feel good to wear every day.
I love creating jewelry that works with your life, something you can wear to get coffee or dress up for an event. Pieces that make you feel a little more like yourself. That's what drives every design.
Outside of designing, I love exploring new cities, working on creative side projects, creating content and sharing my favorite discoveries, and spending quality time with friends and family.
